Students registering in the academic science program should be aware of the term mark and final exam course weightings used in arriving at final course marks. In Science 10, the term mark is weighted at 70% and the final exam at 30%. In the 20-level sciences, the term mark is weighted at 60% and the final exam at 40%. The 30-level sciences have a term mark or school awarded mark weighting of 50% and the diploma examination weighting of 50%.
