Two routes are available: English 10-1/20-1/30-1 or English 10-2/20-2/30-2. Both routes deal with the same skills of reading, writing, viewing, speaking and listening. The English program provides opportunities for students to experience language in functional, analytical, artistic and pleasurable situations with the aim to develop:
- Awareness and interest in how language works.
- An understanding and appreciation of a wide range of use.
- Flexibility in using language for a variety of purposes.
