Sturgeon Composite offers Career and Technology Studies (CTS) and Locally Developed Courses (LDC) as complementary courses. CTS/LDC courses offer students the opportunity to explore their passions, interests and potential careers.

This course is part of the CISCO Networking Academy.  Through the completion of courses on Packet Tracing, the Internet of Things, and Networking Essentials, students will receive a minimum of 5 credits from the CTS BIT cluster Networking.  Students are encouraged to complete their course credits, working towards their CompTIA A+ Exam and certification. Other areas that will be covered in the NETACAD courses include: -programming infrastructure automation -coding in C and C++ -experience building a LAN

Level 1 Early Childhood. The certification (successful) allows students to work in a licensed daycare, out-of-school-care, or preschool program.  Also, they will need to take a supporting First Aid course.
