Student Representative Council is the student group who plan events for the student body, while also representing the opinion and point of view of students. Our meetings take place every Tuesday at lunch in Room 404. New members and ideas are always welcome.

October is Breast Cancer awareness month ... Please join SRC every Friday this month in wearing pink to show your support. PINK FRIDAY’s starts tomorrow!!
If you think your parent or guardian would be interested in supervising the school dance on October 27 from 7 – 10 p.m. please let SRC know, without parents, there will be NO dance.
Please remember to DRESS UP on Monday, October 31. This includes teachers and ALL Staff!! There will be prizes for all the best costumes!
SRC will be hosting a Halloween Dance on Thursday, October 27 (this Thursday). Tickets will be ten dollars ($10) today (Wed, Oct 26) at lunch and tomorrow at lunch. Get them while you can. Tickets will be sold at the door for twelve dollars ($12).
Students – we need your help judging Halloween costumes in the gym today! Come out for some FREE HALLOWEEN TREAT BAGS!

SRC would like to invite everyone to show their support for Canadian Troops by wearing Red Every Friday in November.
Any Cadets who would like to participate in the Remembrance Day Ceremony on Tuesday, November 9. Please see Miss Rutherford ASAP.
Students are reminded to be on their best behavior during the Remembrance Day Ceremony.
No hats will be worn in the gym
Cell phones must be turned off
All students should be wearing a poppy
All SCHS students are expected to be quiet (no talking) and respectful throughout the entire ceremony. Failure to do so will result in student relocation.
Please refrain from applause during and after the Remembrance Day Ceremony Sturgeon Composite High School students are reminded that they are ambassadors’ as there will be guests, parents and community members as well as Dignitaries’’ in attendance.
Students may obtain poppies for a small donation from the General Office.
Help SRC box Mr. Amiot in! Bring food or toys to room 404 between December 1st and 16th. All donations will be stored in Mr. Amiot’s office. Our goal is to trap Mr. Amiot in his office by December 16th. Each donation will get your name entered for a special pizza lunch. Be on the look-out for photo updates!!
Winter has arrived and SRC wants to get you in the Christmas Spirit. Every Friday in December you can purchase hot chocolate at lunch! All proceeds to towards the Stollery Children’s Hospital activity day – sponsored by SRC. More details to come!
