Arrival At The School
Students or parents/guardians should contact Mrs. McKeever in student services to discuss a possible registration. The following information is necessary to help facilitate an appropriate Sturgeon School Division placement.
- Contact Information regarding previous schooling
- Course Mark Inquiry (CMI) available from your existing high school
- Current Report Card (possibly your Grade 9 report card also)
- Individual Program Plan (IPP), Doctor's Diagnosis, or Psycho/Educational Testing Information if applicable
- Custody Documents if applicable
- copy of Birth Certificate
Once a student is registered at Sturgeon Composite, a school counsellor will provide the student with:
and give a basic tour of the school focussing on the student services office, main office, library, cafeteria and the location of the student's classes.
