Who We Are

Sturgeon Composite High School, located five minutes north of the City of Edmonton, offers a full range of programs to meet the educational needs of 975 full time students. From academics, fine arts, vocational and CTS courses to athletics, special education and leadership, the school provides a well-rounded education in a safe and caring environment.

Staff, parents and students are working towards ensuring that a learning environment which addresses the needs of all students is maintained. To support this, new initiatives include a focusing on pyramids of intervention, reading across the curriculum, integrating study skills in all classrooms, and building a character education model for our young adults. These initiatives enable students at Sturgeon Composite High School to develop knowledge, skills and attributes that encourage them to become leaders and successful citizens after graduation.
